Huge, HUGE shout out to Abby Levin, the incredible librarian at my children’s school who coordinated the inspiring and positively gorgeous zine Library Love Letters in the face of proposed job cuts by the Seattle Public School district. This is my contribution to the publication.
I am so honored to be included in this paper, guest edited by Françoise Mouly, art editor of The New Yorker, and writer Nadja Spiegelman. Other Seattle contributors include Tatiana Gill, Robyn Jordan, Sarah Romano Diehl, Megan Kelso and Gillian Levine. “30,000 copies will be distributed for free on Inauguration Day, January 20, 2017, in Washington D.C. Further distribution will occur at the Women’s March on January 21st and throughout the United States.” Check out more info here.
I’m so, so excited to be exhibiting again at Short Run Comix and Arts Festival next week! I’m bringing FOUR newly printed books (pics coming soon) plus some fancy, free stuff (like those stickers below). If you are in Seattle, I hope you will stop by!
