Been making more protest signs than comics these past two weeks. I made this one with my kids. Keep it up, everyone – they will not wear us down! With love in our hearts, we resist!
I am so honored to be included in this paper, guest edited by Françoise Mouly, art editor of The New Yorker, and writer Nadja Spiegelman. Other Seattle contributors include Tatiana Gill, Robyn Jordan, Sarah Romano Diehl, Megan Kelso and Gillian Levine. “30,000 copies will be distributed for free on Inauguration Day, January 20, 2017, in Washington D.C. Further distribution will occur at the Women’s March on January 21st and throughout the United States.” Check out more info here.
I’m so, so excited to be exhibiting again at Short Run Comix and Arts Festival next week! I’m bringing FOUR newly printed books (pics coming soon) plus some fancy, free stuff (like those stickers below). If you are in Seattle, I hope you will stop by!
In news that’ll break the heart of every Seattle Reign fan, our beloved Kim Little announced this week that she’s heading back to play in the UK. This isn’t just a blow for Seattle, but the NWSL in general – we just lost one of the best players in the world. That said, she’s still totally awesome. May she continue to crush it for Arsenal.
