I loved drawing this mini-comic encouraging parents to have their young children tested for lead (written by the incredible Meredith Li-Vollmer at King County Public Health). Did you know that, if detected early, successful supports exist for children who are exposed to lead? NEITHER DID I (until I worked on this project).
Huge shout out to everyone at King County Public Health who organized the pop-up clinics this past summer where they tested kids for FREE and helped connect families to supportive services. You all rule.
