Students in Parkland, Florida – students EVERYWHERE – know what is wrong with our country. I support the National High School Walkout on April 20th, the anniversary of the Columbine massacre (AND the Women’s March action on March 14th AND the March for Our Lives on March 24th). This youth-organized event demands that the adults in elected office (elections in which most teenagers cannot vote) do their job, take care of their communities, and enact real gun reform legislation. Now.
This one is such a frustrating reality for many workers:
This one ran in last week’s Real Change newspaper:
And, below, with introduction by Comics 4 Health Coverage: “Legions of volunteers made it possible to provide free medical, vision, and dental care to over 4,300 patients in 4 days during the Seattle/King County Clinic in 2017. Amy Camber talked to a volunteer interpreter and her comic is featured this week in the International Examiner!”
GOP, we’re coming for you.
I was on my own with two kids at home this winter break. Today is the last day of solo-parenting and, I swear to God, I made it by the skin of my teeth.
Found items not pictured: a half-eaten jar of children’s vitamins and a Star Wars sleeping bag with about 200 of those plastic flossers dumped into the bottom.
